Chulengo Smoker is all about experimentation, this time we ventured into the world of pizza.

Taking advantage of the Chulengo Smoker's ability to be used as a pizza oven, we decided to go a little bit further and use some "unconventional" ingredients, more akin to mexican and spanish cuisine: Instead of the classic salami, we used spanish sausage and machaca (dried shredded meat). For the veggies we topped with grilled avocadoes, tomatoes and fresh cilantro. The sauce is a green salsa made with grilled green tomatoes and cilantro and we topped with Oaxaca cheese. We decided to go with thin crust for a crunchier bite and the results were not only delicious but also pretty to look at, judge by yourself on the picture above!
