Tequila Margarita Marinade
Spring is finally here, the weather is getting warmer and you might want to spend a little more time on your backyard grilling, cooking, smoking and roasting. Here's a refresing, delicious and easy to make recipe for a Tequila Margarita Marinade that you can use for a roast on a relaxing, warm spring afternoon.
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed Lime Juice
- 1/2 Cup Coarse salt
- 1/4 Cup of Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
- 1 Tablespoon Lime Zest
- 3/4 Cup White (Silver) Tequila
Mix all ingredients on a bowl, mix thoroughly until everything is incorporated. Use to marinate your favorite beef cut (Top Sirloin is recommended). Marinate and refrigerate for at least three hours or even overnight. For better results, roast your beef at a low temperature over a grill).
